Due Sorelle beach

The uncontaminated paradise of the Conero

The Due Sorelle beach can be considered the symbol of the Conero Riviera: it is a small white beach, located at the tip of the Conero.

Offering unique and uncontaminated beauty, the Due Sorelle beach is named as such thanks to the two large rocks, similarly shaped, which stand beside each other in the sea.

How to reach it?

The Due Sorelle beach can be reached only by sea using the ferry service that departs just a few metres from Il Conero Mare, just 10 minutes away on foot. Ask our staff members for more information, we would be happy to help you organise your excursion to this spectacular beach!

Marcelli sud

Comfortable beach, perfect for families

Marcelli Sud is a golden, broad and sunlit beach: whether private or free, the Marcelli Sud beach is lined by a long pedestrian path with bars, restaurants and all other types of venues to satisfy all tourist needs.

The beach is formed by fine gravel and descends quite quickly towards the sea.

How to reach it?

Marcelli di Numana is where Il Conero Mare serviced apartments are located: the beaches in the southern part of Marcelli can therefore be reached quite quickly on foot, travelling along the esplanade towards the south. This section of the esplanade can also be easily reached by car, given the many parking options available.

Marcelli centro

Equipped beach directly opposite the apartments

Marcelli centro is the section of coastline where the Il Conero Mare beach is located.

It is located in the southern part of the Conero Park, beginning from the port of Numana: this section of coastline in fine gravel and sand is equipped with every type of service from restaurants to sporting facilities, including areas especially dedicated to children.

How to reach it?

To enjoy this spectacular beach, all you need to do is walk out the door of your Il Conero Mare apartment! Our serviced apartments are located right on the Marcelli di Numana beach, and guests are able to use the private beach (1 umbrella and 2 sun beds), which is included in the price of accommodation! Choose your seafront suite!

Numana bassa

Perfect for young guests and families

This broad, airy, golden beach stretches from the port of Numana to Marcelli, with bathing facilities, sporting equipment, bars and restaurants: everything you could possible need for your seaside holiday.

The sand is composed of fine pebbles, with a shallow sea bottom, scattered with numerous rocks.

How to reach it?

The Numana beach is relatively shallow and can be easily reached from the centre of Numana, thanks to a bus service that departs every 15 minutes from the main square. From our serviced apartments on the other hand, guests simply need to travel along the esplanade in a northerly direction.

Numana alta

Precious beaches nestled inside the Riviera

The beaches of Numana Alta are considered some of the most spectacular, insofar as their positioning by the mountain creates inlets and bays, making these unique and particularly intimate locations.

Immersed in the nature of the Conero Park, hidden away by rocks, these beaches boast calm seas and foreshores of fine, golden pebbles, where visitors can relax whilst peacefully enjoying the magnificent natural setting.

How to reach it?

The Numana Alta beach can be easily reached on foot from the centre of Numana, or from the tourist port. A bus service departs every 30 minutes from the historical city centre. From our serviced apartments on the other hand, guests simply need to travel along the esplanade in a northerly direction. The Numana Alta beaches are just 20 minutes away on foot.

Urbani beach

Along the Conero Riviera, nestled inside one of the bays of Sirolo

This charming beach in the shape of a half moon is located just under the city of Sirolo, nestled inside a delightful bay.

This small pebble and stone paradise stretches between a cliff face and a cave, combining the sweet smell of pine trees with the scents of the sea, making this beach a unique experience. The foreshore is scattered with bathing facilities.

How to reach it?

The Urbani beach can be reached by bus, car or even on foot: from the centre of Sirolo the beach can be accessed by travelling down a 1km connecting road.

San Michele beach

A small bay at the foot of Mount Conero

p Along the slopes of Mount Conero, leaning against the rocks that become the mountain itself, San Michele beach is yet another small panoramic paradise.

The beach consists in sand and white pebbles, and in certain parts is equipped with bathing facilities. The landscape is truly breathtaking: cobalt blue water, forestland that descends towards the beach, rocky walls sinking into the sea.

How to reach it?

San Michele beach can be reached on foot by travelling along the pathway through the forest, or from the centre of Sirolo. During the summer months, a bus service is also available that departs from the Sirolo town hall.

Sassi Neri beach

A small bay at the foot of Mount Conero

The beach can be reached on foot or by the bus departing from the Sirolo town hall.

For those who love excursions, it is possible to travel along a pathway (which begins just before the Sirolo cemetery) on foot, on horseback or by mountain bike. In off-season periods, the beach can also be reached by car.

Gabbani beach

Perfect for young guests and families

The Gabbiani beach is a cove of the Conero Park neighbouring the Due Sorelle beach, from where a truly special view of the latter can be enjoyed.

This section of the coastline, where the mountain takes a vertical dive into the clear, blue water of the sea, is truly worth a visit.

How to reach it?

This beach can only be accessed by sea if you have a boat, or by hiring an inflatable boat. It is relatively close to Portonovo, which means that in calm waters it is also possible to arrive by paddle boat or rowing boat.

Vela beach

Suggestive beach in Portonovo

The Vela beach is one of the most suggestive in the entire Conero Riviera.

It is located in the southern part of Portonovo, in a secluded section of coast, taking its name from a large rock overlooking the pebble beach. The beach, with its characteristic turquoise and cobalt blue colouring, has a sea bottom consisting in pebbles and rocks, making it an ideal spot for diving and snorkelling.

How to reach it?

The Vela beach can be reached by car along the Provincial road of Conero in the direction of Portonovo: from the welcome roundabout, head down the road that travels alongside the Conero. Car spots are limited, but there is a continuous bus shuttle service from the car park at the top of the road, which heads towards Portonovo.

Portonovo

Suggestive beach in Portonovo

Charming and very well-known, from the characteristic pebble beach immersed in Mediterranean plant life, Portonovo is characterised by two large, well-equipped areas with bathing facilities and seafood restaurants, where guests can enjoy excellent freshly fished meals.

This bay is also a favourite destination for lovers of water sports such as windsurfing. In addition to a spectacular natural panorama, the area also boasts the picturesque Torre di Guardia, the Fortino Napoleonico and the Chiesa di Santa Maria di Portonovo.

How to reach it?

The Portonovo beach can be reached by car along the Provincial road of Conero in the direction of Portonovo: from the welcome roundabout, head down the road that travels alongside the Conero. Car spots are limited, but there is a continuous bus shuttle service from the car park at the top of the road, which heads towards Portonovo.
